My name is Bobby Sulecki, age 25, and I am an Self-Made Film Historian. I was born with Cerebral Palsy and am able to walk with a walker and use a wheelchair.
Because I was not as mobile as others my age, I found an appreciation and connection with the stars of yesterday. I always felt I was born at the wrong time.
I love all classic films and stars from the Silent Era through the Early 1950's.
I have spent many hours studying and researching the history of film, the actors, studios, etc.
Interviews I have done include Ann Rutherford, Joan Leslie, Dickie Moore, Powell, Jimmy Hawkins, Mary Owen (Donna Reed's daughter), Paul Petersen, and I am working on others.
Why am I devoting a website to Helen Parrish? I first saw Helen in the 1939 movie, Three Smart Girls Grow Up. I already was fan of Deanna Durbin, but there was something about her co-star, Helen Parrish. She was such a good actress and beautiful and I wondered why I had never heard of her. I started researching, and found that she had sadly died in 1959 at the age of 34. I needed to know more, and there was not much. Helen became my passion. She had a quiet beauty and a tragic life. I am sharing all I have on her, which is not enough. So, this will be a work in progress.......
